My two favorite hobbies are weather observation and amateur (ham) radio.
Well, OK maybe a third - computers which are very useful tools for use
in both ham radio and weather watching.
On the ham radio side, I am a member of the
ARRL - The National Association for
Amateur Radio, and the
OH-KY-IN Amateur Radio Society
located in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am lucky to be a member of
a whole HAM family! My wife Jo KD4PYS, my daughters Becky
KG4BDO and Laurie KF4YWG. Ham radio must run in my family, including
my dad Ron WA4HWN and his wife Carmen WD4AGY, my brother Dave KC8YDM,
my father-in-law Al KD4PYQ(SK), my sister-in-law Alison KI4BMI and her son
Chris KI4BOR. Also my daughter's boyfriend Alex KJ4HPE has his license. I promise
I did not say he had to get his ticket to date her, but if he wanted to marry her...
